Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Students Fly to Rome After the Holidays

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios students are preparing to depart for their January term in Italy at the start of the new year. From January 1 through 11, 2026, students from programs in aviation, business, nursing, and other majors will take part in the travel study. Student are enrolled in courses that fulfill their core curriculum.

“When I learned about this travel study opportunity, I just knew that I had to take part. I’m really excited to study the Colosseum and attend mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, said Joseph Martinez, a history major. 

Alexis Anderson, Alexander Cruz, Gustave Gareth, Brianna Hall, Keira Johnson, Ethan Klug, Megan McPherson, Johary Montano, Donovan Marsh Pierce, and Tom Saji are also students participating in the program.

Steve Nawara, chair of , and Dennis H. Cremin, chair of , will lead the travel study to Rome and Florence. 

“We know that travel programs are transformative for our students. I’m particularly looking forward to viewing the art of Michelangelo and having discussions with the students about the David in Florence and the Sistine Chapel in Rome,” said Cremin.
